May 4, 2018 - Deva Kurbai Social Help Association - Isaac Arulappan

This week our Rotary club was invited to join the LC Morning club because they had a very exceptional speaker presenting. Isaac Arulappan, who was orphaned as a young boy, is the founder and director of Deva Kirubai Social Help Association(DKSHA). Isaac and his staff provide shelter, education, and medical care to orphaned children in Tamilnadu, India. Upon hearing him speak about their mission, Weibler Financial & Retirment decided to make a financial contribution to their cause.

DKSHA is a voluntary not-for-profit social service organization set up in 1993 to empower the lives of disadvantaged children, widows, and the marginalized poor. The organization operates mainly through grants from private agencies as well as donations from individuals and businesses. Since it's inception, DKSHA has posivively influenced thousands of lives by providing shelter for orphans and meeting the medical, social, and educational needs of the poor through developement projects for sustainable living.
