Matt Weibler

Matt has been working in the financial planning industry for more than 10 years. Knowing it was what he wanted to do, he started working at Weibler Financial while he was still completing his bachelor's degree in business finance from the University of Idaho.

Matt is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. In addition, he holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® certification, his insurance license, and FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations with Commonwealth Financial Network® as a registered advisor.

Matt and his wife, Jackie, were married in 2011 and had their first child in 2014. Matt loves living in Idaho and especially in Lewiston. While he and his wife certainly enjoy traveling, they could not imagine a more perfect place to live and raise a family. Matt and his family (especially his 3-year-old, Jane) enjoy fishing, hiking, and even just time spent playing in the backyard. Jackie is an incredible cook and having family dinner together is usually the best part of Matt’s day. Matt also enjoys shooting guns and hunting birds with his German shorthaired pointer, Walker.

Matt is currently serving as the president of the Lewiston Rotary Club. Chartered in 1921, this is one of the oldest Rotary Clubs on the planet. It is Matt’s desire to see the community he lives in be prosperous, healthy, educated, and for all of these things to endure sustainably. He believes Rotary to be one of the best ways for a person to have a real impact in these areas.
It is Matt's belief that rational thinking, thoughtful planning, and diligent follow-through are the prevailing factors that determine a person’s circumstance. Virtually any goal can be accomplished with commitment, objectivism, and a positive mental attitude
